Who are these programs for?
Our programs are designed for U.S. universities offering sport-related coursework. We work directly with faculty and study abroad offices to create short-term, faculty-led programs that integrate seamlessly into existing academic structures.
What experience do you have with these programs?
We've been organizing international, sport-focused study abroad programs for over 10 years. Our founder has worked with a range of U.S. institutions, delivering academically aligned and logistically seamless experiences across Europe and South America. We understand what faculty, students, and administrators need—and we deliver with professionalism, consistency, and care.
What subjects or themes can we focus on?
Each program is custom-built around your course content. Focus areas include:
- Sport management and administration
- The European Model of Sport

Do students receive academic credit?
Yes. Credit is awarded by your institution. We work with faculty to align site visits and activities with the course syllabus and learning outcomes.
What is the university's role in the program?
Your university's study abroad office and academic department remain responsible for student enrollment, teaching the class before departure, academic credit, and pre-departure safety briefings. Sport Study Abroad works in close partnership with your institution to ensure all travel logistics and on-site support are seamlessly integrated with your university's requirements and processes.
