This is a Guilford trip. Open to alumni and friends of Guilford. It was built with former Quaker athletes in mind. You don’t need to have played, nor do you need to have studied sport.
Open to all ages. Partners, family and friends are welcome. Eleven days with the same Guilford group. Most of you will not have met. The common ground is the week ahead.
You come home with a group. That is the point. You also bring back the sport you experienced — two live matches, Anfield, Lord’s, Wimbledon — still in you. The connections and insider perspectives are what you keep.
Guilford students have been doing this with Prof. Michael White for years. These trips work. This alumni trip is that exact experience — the cities, the tables, the access — open to all alumni and friends of the college.

With Prof. Michael White traveling with you, every day is lived from the inside — in the stand, on the coach, at the table. There are no classes and nothing to hand in.
Michael travels with you. Guilford students have been on the road with him for years — and he would like you to have the same week.
Local expert guides join you in the cities and at the grounds. Michael is in the group with you, adding the Guilford thread: someone who has spent his career teaching the business side of sport, standing next to you when the thing is in front of you — how a Premier League club actually makes its money, why a stand was built the way it was, what a matchday operation looks like from the inside.
It happens the way a good conversation on a team bus does: on the coach, in the stand before kick-off, over dinner when the match is still in the room. Ask him anything.
Private tours at Anfield, Lord’s and Wimbledon. A shinty session in the Highlands. Golf at St Andrews. Two football matches — one in Scotland, one in London.
Eleven days, the same people. Sport visits mixed with cultural days. Local expert guides in the cities, on the Highlands coach, and at the listed grounds. A Tour Manager with you from arrival to departure.
Edinburgh to London, the long way round. North through the Highlands, back through Glencoe, then south.
Arrive in Edinburgh independently; we will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. The week opens with a group dinner in the old town.
A morning at Edinburgh Castle with a local expert, the afternoon at a live Scottish league match, and an evening free in the Grassmarket and along Rose Street.
North by private coach, with a guide on board: the Forth Bridges, a stop on Pitlochry’s high street, then Aviemore and Loch Morlich in the Cairngorms before arriving in Inverness.
A morning of shinty — Scotland’s oldest stick-and-ball game — watch local experts play, then take the field to try it yourself. In the afternoon, we head south by coach: Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle and Fort Augustus, through Glencoe and Loch Lomond, to Dundee.
A day at the home of golf, split two ways: play one of the St Andrews courses, or take a walking tour with a local guide through the links, the cathedral ruins, the castle and the old university. You choose when you book. Group dinner in Dundee.
South to Liverpool, a private guided tour of Anfield, and the Beatles Story at the Royal Albert Dock.
The direct train from Lime Street to Euston, then a private guided tour of Lord’s — the Pavilion, the Long Room and the Ashes Urn.
A private guided tour of Centre Court, No. 1 Court and the Lawn Tennis Museum in the morning; a guided walking tour of Westminster Abbey, Parliament and Buckingham Palace in the afternoon.
A free morning, then a live English league football match in London. The evening is yours.
A free day in London, with an optional NFL London game for anyone who wants it. The week closes with a farewell dinner.
A group transfer to Heathrow for onward flights.
On the St Andrews day you can play instead of sightseeing. Green fees and club rental are booked separately and paid directly. Tee times are limited and are arranged once the group is confirmed.
The NFL plays regular-season games in London each autumn. If the 2027 calendar puts a game in our window, we will offer tickets as an add-on. Fixtures and availability are announced by the NFL during 2027.

The 2027 program fee will be set in late autumn and published here. Get the day-by-day and you will hear it first — before registration opens. It costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
The trip runs with a minimum of ten travelers. If it does not reach that, you get your money back.

Unknown, honestly. British fixture calendars for autumn 2027 are published during 2027. We book a match in Edinburgh on the Saturday and a match in London on the second Saturday, and we tell you the opponents as soon as they are set.
Central three-star hotels with breakfast in all five cities. We deliberately do not book hotels until the group is confirmed. We would rather name the hotels late than name them wrongly.
No. You book your own, into Edinburgh and home from Heathrow. We will give you the transfer times before you book.
A single supplement is available. The amount will be published with the program fee.
No. The fee is the trip. If you would like to support Guilford as well, you can add an optional gift when you register.
